Sweet Valentine's Day Treats

This year I really wanted to TRY to make some cute Valentine treats for the boys to take to school and for my friends. So, when I found a Wilton pan that makes 6 heart-shaped mini-cakes, I was so excited. And then my mom found (through a lot of experimentation) a good red velvet cake recipe, I knew what I wanted to do. Then I found some fun boxes online to put the cakes in, made little tags, and lucked out and found cute ribbon at Costco. I wish I had bought white crinkle stuff to go in the bottom of the boxes but all I had was red - oh well. I also made heart-shaped brownie pops for the boys to take to school - but only Dallin wanted to take them (Gavin took mini-popcorn bags and Matthew took suckers). That was okay with me (less to make). Anyway, I was really happy with how they turned out! The boys' teachers each got a red velvet cake in a cute little box and my friends got cake & brownie pops. Wish I could give each of you the same. Hope you all have a
SWEET Valentine's Day!
I will try to post the red velvet cake recipe later this week with my SuperBowl recipes.
