Oh - Cameron is such a happy guy - okay, maybe not like he was 9 days ago, but happy considering what has happened to him. He is tough but he is also a lot crankier than usual - but who can blame him.
On to the update - I took Cameron to the Burn Center at the University of Utah today. They said his fingers look a lot better but they want to give his fingers another week to see if they will heal on there own. So no skin grafts, yet. We will find out next week if he needs skin grafts.

For now, I have to re-dress and change his bandages ONCE a day (yeah - not twice anymore) and he only has to wear his splint when he is sleeping. I also have to do exercises with his fingers 3 times a day and try to get him to use it more often.
He loves to take his bandages off so I can't just leave the splint off
- I have to put a sock on his left hand so he can't pull the bandages off his right hand. But I can't just put a sock on it - I have to safety pin the sock to his clothes.

So for now his right hand is bandaged and his left hand has a sock on it and we have to wait another week to find out if he needs skin grafts.

Yeah, Cameron! He's so lucky that you're his Mom! Fingers crossed for healthy healing on his own.
Oh my! I was wondering what the sock was for. It looks like you are experiencing a bit of what I will be soon with Libby. If they do have take grafts would it be from the same place? We are keeping him in my prayers. I really really hope he doesn't need skin grafts.
Oh poor little guy! He probably hates that sock.
On a side note. . . You look wonderful! After I have this baby you're going to have to give me the skinny on how to get skinny again. . .
