Oh Cameron is so tough! We took him to the Burn Center at the University of Utah this morning. The nurses were all impressed with how tough he was. They cleaned his burns (not nearly as horrible as I had been told - thankfully), put medicine on it, wrapped it, put little gloves on each finger and then his hand, and then made a splint for his hand (to help his fingers from bending as they heal). They are not sure yet if he needs skin grafts. I take him back next Wednesday to find out what needs to be done next. For now, I get to clean and re-dress his burns TWICE a day. I told the nurses that Ed would have to do it and they said, "No, it will
take BOTH of you to do it". Hopefully I can get it figured out before he goes out of town next week for work. I am so glad he is a tough little guy! I will share more pictures soon - but now I have to go wake up the little guy (who didn't take a nap until 4:30 today and is still asleep right now at 9:30 - so I need to wake him up so he will sleep some time tonight) and clean and re-dress his burns.
But as bad as it is and as much work as it is, as Matthew says, "at least he still has his fingers"!
As far as the treadmill goes - it is now UNPLUGGED and the part you run on is in the "up" position (so you can't stand on it or even to get to the on switch - which it never use to be). We never run on it when babies are awake and that definitely will continue. I guess Brecken is just a lot more observant than I realized.

I am so sad for him. So was this a friction burn? Or heat? Where did his fingers get caught? And what do you do to prevent it from the future? Just keep the treadmill unplugged all the time? Sorry, so many questions! I've been worried about him all day. You guys are in our prayers!
