For Thanksgiving this year, we decided to take the WHOLE family to Arizona to visit Gram. We were a little nervous about the 11 hour drive (can be shorter with good weather and fewer stops) with SIX kids - but I must say the kids were all wonderful! And are trip was great. We didn't do much except hang out with Gram at her house, go to Rob & Amanda's for Thanksgiving dinner (thanks guys - it was a very nice day), get family pictures taken (thanks again Amanda), load a U-Haul trailer with some of Gram's stuff (she is moving to Utah in January), shopping on Black Friday (just me and Gram), a quick and heart-breaking visit to Grandpa, and playing at the park behind Gram's house.
Our trip home was a little more adventurous with pulling a U-Haul trailer, a broken window (thanks to Gavin and Brecken - no one was open to fix it), and snow the last hour or so - but all in all, it was a FABULOUS Thanksgiving!

Moving to Utah? THat is wonderful that she will be so close! One of these days I'll get to visit and get to see her too! Is she moving in with you for a while?
