Christmas Progressive Dinner

For the last 6 or 7 years, we have done a Christmas Progressive Dinner with a group of our friends. There are eight couples and 3 houses. 2 couples do appetizers, 2 couples do main dish, 2 couples do dessert, and 2 couples do games (dessert and games are at the same house). This year we got to have the main dish at our house. I had so much fun decorating and planning it. I made rolled flank steak, rosemary focaccia bread, and accordion potatoes (I will post the recipes soon) and Michelle T. made salad, green beans wrapped in bacon, and made a yummy punch. Everything turned out to be really yummy (in my opinion).

I didn't make it to appetizers (sorry Donna and Angie) - I was too busy with last minute cooking. Games were super fun - a bunch of minute-to-win-it games (thanks Carol and Lisa). And desserts were perfect - fun little snacky desserts, perfect after a big meal (thanks Dani and Laura). Can't wait to see what everyone does next year!

Happy New Year!
