Hot Fudge Sundae Sauce Recipe

Normally I have a picture to go with the recipes I post but I am having serious problems with iPhoto right now so the recipe itself will have to do (and with a recipe like this, you don't really need a picture). I got this recipe from my friend Dani (thanks Dani) and made it for Dallin's birthday party a couple of weeks ago - and I must say it is super yummy!

Hot Fudge Sundae Sauce

16oz chocolate chips (I used semi-sweet)
1/2 cup butter
2 cups powdered sugar
1 1/3 cups evaporated milk
1 tsp vanilla

Melt butter, add chips over lower heat.  Add powdered sugar and evaporated milk blending well.  Bring to a boil stirring constantly and let boil for 4-5 minutes.  Makes thick and yummy topping.  Store in refrigerator.  Good for a couple of weeks (if it lasts that long).

Enjoy!
