Dallin's 11th Birthday Party

Dallin turned 11 way back on June 30!  We did celebrate his birthday on his actual birthday (at least sort of) but we didn't have his birthday party until the end of July.  He decided he was too old to have a "theme" party like his brothers (even though he would have loved it) so he just had a Pool Party to celebrate his birthday.  I think all the boys that came loved it!  It was hard to get the boys out of the pool to eat PIZZA and later for CAKE (ok, I was lazy and only made cupcakes) and ICE CREAM SUNDAES - but I guess that means they were having fun!
Decorating for the party was easy - Dallin wanted everything blue and green - so we had blue and green balloons and I put them in glass containers filled with sand and sea creatures.
We sent the boys all home with water bottles filled with candy (I had no idea what to send home with them - this was the best I could come up with) and a BIG sucker (that made me think of beach balls).
The boys all had a great time jumping off the diving board . . .
 and going down the slide!

The boys spent at least half the time seeing how many boys they could get on the slide at once!  Right before we ate, the were able to get SEVEN boys on the slide!

Dallin just wanted pizza for dinner so we had pizza, chips and fruit!

For dessert we had cupcakes (some with Reese's Peanut Butter cups in them and some with Oreos in them) and ice cream sundaes (along with super yummy homemade hot fudge - thanks for the recipe Dani).

After dessert it was back in the pool for more swimming, cool tricks off the diving board and seeing how many boys they could get on the slide at once.  They got up to NINE!

Happy birthday Dallin!  We sure LOVE you!
