In the midst of sick babies, I went to check on the big boys and this is how I found Gavin - COVERED in marker! It was funny until I saw it all over his sheets, bedspread, walls, and ceiling. And it didn't help that he had written "Utah" everywhere - and not "Utah" for the state we live in but "Utah" for the University of Utah. For some reason, Matthew and Gavin are Ute fans. How can that be? We bleed blue in this house. Both Ed and I went to BYU and up until I was pregnant with the twins, I taught at BYU (and I hope to teach there again one day). The circle thingy around "Utah" apparently are suppose to be football helmets. It turned out to be washable marker so I didn't have to ground him for life - but he did get grounded and had to scrub the walls and ceiling. I was really impressed he could write "Utah" and even spelled it correctly - not bad for a 4-year old. I wanted to be mad, but he is so cute it was hard to be mad for long - I think it made me laugh more than anything!

Okay, that's hillarious. Maybe he felt like he had to make himself known - being a Ute fan in a BYU home. I feel his pain. Tell them they can come cheer for utes at my house any time :)
What a cute little naughty boy! hahaha...I LOVE the marker on his face...it's awesome!
Let's NOT tell Troy! How funny though (except for the clean up).Thank goodness for washable markers:)
Such a cutie. When my kids did that, there weren't even washable markers avaliable. Good mom for having his scrub it! Thanks for the smiles.
