On New Year's Day, we decided to take ALL the kids bowling! Christmas break was almost over and because of so many sick kids (and it being FREEZING - it was ZERO degrees when the boys went to school this morning) we hadn't done much. So they chose to go bowling. I must admit, it was SO MUCH FUN! It was so fun to watch ALL SIX of them having fun and BEHAVING! No one was running away or needing a nap or anything. And to see the looks on their faces (especially the Little 3) was PRICELESS! It definitely helped that they have ramps for little ones to use and that you can program it so anyone can have bumpers that come up automatically.
Cameron was so cute! He HAD to carry his own ball (Dallin did go find him a LIGHTER, NOT PINK ball later).

Brecken was all smiles! He did say he was done after about 4 frames (but with 8 people bowling and 4 of them being under 8, it took a LONG time), but we were able to talk him into finishing!
Kesley was just way too cute - and she looks so grown-up! She needs to stop that!
Every time Cameron "bowled" (aka PUSH the ball down the ramp), he would first say "ONE, TWO, THREE, READY, SET, GO" and then PUSH the ball, then he would wait to see if he knocked any down and then he would jump up and down and say "I win! I win!"
The big boys have bowled several times before with Ed so they were PROS! This is Gavin!
Here is Ed!
Here is Ed helping Brecken - Brecken did try "throwing" the ball a few times instead of using the ramp but decided that was TOO hard!
How cute is she! I never knew anyone could look so cute bowling!
Had to take a picture of her patiently waiting for her ball to hit the pins!
She got a STRIKE and was SUPER HAPPY about it! She did a little dance!
Matthew really tried to have good form!
Dallin just HUCKED the ball down the lane.
Still smiling!
So happy that she knocked some pins down. Jumping for joy!
So proud of himself!
Matthew!
Dallin!
Happy Happy Brecken!
One time she pushed the ball down the ramp with her head - silly girl!
I think the ball weighs as much as she does!
Over the top excited! Makes the whole outing WORTH it!
Giving Daddy HIGH FIVE! And doing a dance!
Loved watching him concentrate!

Such a fun day! After bowling we were even brave and took the kids out to dinner. We tried going to Chili's but there was a wait - so we went to IHOP where there was no wait and we had half the restaurant to ourselves. LOVE spending time with my family!
