Futsal, Basketball, Basketball, Basketball - So FUN!

We are back into SPORTS mode!  Friday night Matthew had his first ever FUTSAL game (he played with his normal soccer team).  FUTSAL is basically soccer, indoors on a hard court (about the size of a basketball court from what I could tell).  There are 5 players out on the court per team at a time (including the goalie).  You can sub whenever you want (boys were running on and off the court all the time).  Matthew played GOALIE/KEEPER the whole time - which was mostly the same but sometimes he had to throw the ball in and other times he had to drop bounce kick it (strange).
FUTSAL is SUPER fast moving and fun to watch except that they play in what is basically a big warehouse so it was FREEZING!  I left my BIG winter coat on the whole time and my warm hat.

Saturday was a day FILLED with BASKETBALL!  We had games at 11:00, noon, and 1:00.

Matthew was up first.  He is a good little player - he really can handle the ball well.  I need to get him playing year round!

Dallin was up next.  He is pretty much a whole head taller than almost every other player.  He is really starting to figure out how to use his size on the basketball court so it is fun to watch him.

Gavin was up last.  This boy is so much fun to watch.  He is AWESOME on defense!  I always feel bad for the kid he is guarding (up through 4th grade, the kids wear colored wristbands so they know who to guard).  But he is also doing great on offense!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE watching my boys play sports and I am so happy when they don't overlap too badly so I can watch ALL their games!
