Saturday = Sports & Swimming

Our Saturdays in September and October are ALL about SPORTS!  And we LOVE it!

Last Saturday we did "sports" from 7:30 am - 7:00 pm.  We started with Dallin and his football game - he had to leave home by 7:30 get him there by 7:45 am.  His game didn't start until 9:00.  Problem was that Brecken's game also started at 9:00.  Oh wait, the twins game started at 9:00 too - thank heavens my mom was in town to help out!  Ed went to Dallin's game, I went to Brecken's game, and my mom went to the twins game.

When I could get Brecken out on the field, he had fun and played well.  Love that smile!

 Dallin was playing another 7th grade Lehi team - the team he played on his first year - they REALLY wanted to play.  So all during Brecken's game, Ed was texting me the score.  I had planned on going straight to Gavin's (10:30) game after Brecken's but Dallin's team was winning at half-time so I hurried over to see the end.  So glad I did!  They ended up winning 34-8!!!!!!

 Dallin went head to head with #77 on the other team the whole time - fun to see Dallin being so aggressive.

 I didn't get to see the twins game but I took pictures of them at Gavin's game.  Kesley is AWESOME at soccer - she scored 3 goals!

 Cameron, on the other hand isn't as into soccer as his twin sister.  Let's just say it is a challenge to get him out on the field at all.

 I love watching Gavin - he is such a good boy.  And when he stays in his position, he is a GOOD little defender.

 After Gavin's game, we had a small break (meaning I had time to get home from Gavin's game in time to get Matthew to his game early).  Matthew plays for SURF (East).  When his team is "ON", they are really good.  They WON 9-1 and he SCORED ONE GOAL!

 The second half he played KEEPER.  I hate when he plays keeper but he does when they are up by a lot.

 He did have a few good stops.

 Once we finished our 4 SOCCER games and 1 FOOTBALL game, we had Dallin's football team over for a TEAM PARTY!  It was so nice to have the party after such a GREAT game!  And we were so lucky and had GREAT weather for the party - which we had not had all week.

 The boys all swam and just got to play and have fun OFF the field!  And I must say, they are ALL such nice boys!

 The funniest part of the party was when some of the boys went inside and played DRESS-UP!

 After the party, we let all of our kids swim.

This was one of the most fun Saturdays EVER!!!!  I went to bed EXHAUSTED but just LOVING my kiddos. What a FUN day!
