We tried to have Cameron get his tonsils out today - but no luck! He had a GREAT night last night (after a not good night the night before) so I was very hopeful that he would get his tonsils out. But after he started coughing first thing this morning, I was pretty sure they wouldn't let him have surgery. But we tried anyway! I should have known better and stayed home and in my pjs instead of braving the SNOW!
How cute are Ed and Cameron before we left this morning! Cameron was so excited to go to the hospital - just because that meant he got to leave the house!
Of course Cameron had his backpack on!
He got so excited when he saw the tons in the waiting room!
He was even ok with me taking his pjs off and putting on the gown - UNTIL I jokingly said that he was wearing a DRESS! OOPS! He wanted NOTHING to do with wearing a dress! He instantly said, "I NOT wear a dress!" and RIPPED it off! He preferred to lay there with no clothes on (and it was cold) than wear a "dress". My bad!
They needed his height so he walked down the COLD hallway with no clothes on - and he didn't care!
Before he was totally ready for surgery, they had the anesthesiologist come and listen to him. Cameron thought that was fun. The Dr was nice and let Cameron listen to himself. But it was a NO GO! There was congestion in his lungs and narrowing of his airway (duh - his tonsils are HUGE). So, they sent us home. He is rescheduled for January 22 - UGH!
