Torn Meniscus

Ugh!  I do not have time for this!  Saturday night, all of a sudden I realized my left knee hurt.  I just thought I twisted it - no big deal.  Sunday I took it pretty easy because it still hurt and was getting harder to walk, but still just thought I tweaked it a little.  Then Monday, as the morning went on, it started to hurt more and more and it got harder and harder to walk.  I finally looked at my knee and it was swollen.  So I went to the doctor and they told me that I TORE my MENISCUS.  So no zoo or any where fun with the kiddos for a while since I have to stay off it and keep it elevated and ice it 3-4 times a days.  Luckily, my mom is nearby and came over today to help me.  Hopefully I won't have to have surgery - if it isn't better in a week, I will go in for an MRI and see if I need surgery.  Cross your fingers!
