Christmas Treats

Here are the treats I put together for Ed to take to people at work. On the long pewter platters were chocolate truffles, almond turtles, M&M caramel pretzels, caramels, and caramel wrapped chocolate dipped pretzels - all homemade! In the jars there were almond turtles, caramels, and M&M caramel pretzels. I also made treats for about 25 of our new neighbors. For some reason I don't have a picture of them (I know I took some - oh well). I put caramels and the M&M caramel pretzels in these really cute red with white polka dot 4x4 boxes and tied them up with ribbon and attached a Christmas card. I had planned on putting more things in them but all the treats took way longer than I had planned (oops). Next year I am going to "try" to start earlier with all the work and neighbor treats! I am already trying to figure out what I am going to do - to help reduce the craziness that my favorite season brings. Either way, whether I plan ahead or not, it will be fun - I love to bake!
