Peter Breinholt Concert - in my HOME!!!!

I still can't believe this actually happened - we had a Peter B. concert in our HOME!

Had did this happen?  Well, back in October when we were traveling around Southern Utah in an RV for Fall Break, my cute friend Brooke texted me asking me if I had pictures of my house - the kitchen, family room area.  I wasn't sure why but said I did at home and I could send them to here in a couple of days.  Then she explained that Peter B. was looking for a couple of homes to do Home Benefit Concerts in and that she thought of my home.  I told her that she could go in and take pictures and that we would LOVE LOVE LOVE that!  She said she didn't need pictures and that my house would be perfect and that she would tell Peter that (she use to work for Peter and is good friends with him still).  Then we figured out a date that worked and went from there!  Peter B. has been one of my FAVORITE since back in college!  My friends and I went to all of his concerts - LOVE him!

He had these posters/invitations made and we sent them to friends (should have sent them to more - we had a great turn out but had room for more).

I was so cool when Peter B. just showed up at our door and came to set up.  Even Ed thought it was cool!  He got there an hour or so before the concert started and Ed helped him set up and just hung out with us.  

 Lots of our friends came - here is a picture of some of my girlfriends that came.  

Since this was a party at my house, we had LOTS of yummy food!

 We had a CARAMEL APPLE BAR (it was November so it was perfect) - complete with salted caramel, a toffee dip, white chocolate, cinnamon sugar, crushed Oreos, pecan bits, and semi-sweet chocolate to go on the apples.

 We had CHEESE AND CRACKERS (but I can't remember who brought them - that is why I need to blog right after something happens - wait, I think Brooke brought this).

 SPINACH DIP (I think Nichole brought this)

 PUMPKIN CHOCOLATE CHIP BREAD BITES

 SALTED CARAMEL CHOCOLATE mini CUPCAKES

 FANCY TOFFEE BROWNIES

 mini CHEESECAKES with sour cream topping and graham cracker crust

 And a SODA BAR (Michelle T did that)

 CHIPS and HOMEMADE SALSA (pretty sure Deyse brought this since she mades the best salsa)

 After everyone ate and mingled for a while, Ed introduced Peter B, then Peter B talked about the organization he was raising money for (short and sweet and not pushy at all) and then he performed!

SO COOL!!!!!

 It was really fun because it was so intimate - he would pause during a song and explain why he wrote it or some background with that song.

 There were more people up in the balcony.

 Seriously, Peter B was performing in my family room!!!!

 I did get up and dance for one song - I'm sure Ed has pictures of that somewhere - but that is what I would have done back in college!

One of my favorite parts of the night was when my friend from college, Jessica, came!!!!  We use to go to Peter B concerts together!  LOVE this girl!

The Taylor's and us have been to LOTS of Peter B concerts so getting to meet him and have him in our home is something we will never forget.  Such a GREAT night!

It truly is a night we will never forget.  Peter B performed for almost 3 hours and then stayed and talked to everyone and took pictures.  Thanks Brooke for setting it up and thanks Peter B for a FABULOUS night!
