4th Grade Football Banquet

So I am going to TRY to be better about blogging (ha ha).  

WAY back in November, we had the End of Year Banquet for Gavin's 4th Grade Football team (I was team mom along with another mom Jenny - who was AWESOME to work with).  We had their banquet at Jack and Jill's Bowling Ally in Lehi and it was PERFECT!  The kids each got to bowl one game and play one game of laser tag - all after eating pizza and cupcakes, getting awards, a football (that we had all the boys sign), and watching slideshow (thanks to Dallin for putting it together).    I didn't take very many pictures but here are a few:

 I found these footballs on Amazon along with the tees - so instead of a trophy, these were the boys' trophies that they could put on a shelf or play with.  So fun that we found PURPLE!

 One day at practice, we took picture of the boys and the team - not the best pictures but I think they turned out ok.  I took those pictures and then made these little posters for each boy (11x14 - printed for $3 at Costco).  

 We could only bring in a cake (or cupcakes) to Jack and Jill's (and buy their pizza) - so I made these cupcakes - simple but fun.

 We gave each of the coaches these framed pictures with all the boys.

 I really should have taken more pictures - I thought I did. Oh well.  

The coaches talked about each boy - they said really nice things about Gavin and about what a GREAT center he was - and how he came even when he was sick.

The boys had a GREAT time!  I would definitely do a banquet there again!  And thanks Coach Kevin and Coach Darren for a FABULOUS season!  Gavin LOVED it!
