August Girls' Birthday Ladies Night

Last week we celebrating 4 Fabulous ladies' birthdays:  Angie, Carol, Donna, and Melanie (I think it is so funny they all live on the same street too).

We started with appetizers while everyone got there (thanks to Jess for the bruschetta and artichoke dip and Deyse for the homemade salsa).  Here are some of my cute friends enjoying the appetizers.
Then we had dinner - thanks to everyone that brought YUMMY food!  I LOVED that most of the balloons from Angie's 40th birthday party a few days before were still floating - I totally cheated and left up all those decorations for this party.
BBQ Chicken Salad - thanks Michelle T.
Creamy Chicken Taquitos - thanks Michele S.
Garlic Bite Rolls - thanks Deyse
 Fruit Salad - thanks Lisa
And of course a Soda Bar (aka Dirty Diet Coke Bar)
After dinner, we had planned on getting in the hot tub - but of course, it was POURING RAIN, again.  That's ok - we just grabbed blankets and got comfy on the couch.
 Angie opened her presents first.
New watch and gift cards and maybe more - I can't remember.  How cute are Angie and Deyse!
All the girls got fun Halloween lanterns from JennyLynn.  Love Tosha's face!
Carol got gift cards - she is not clothes or shoe shopping for a year - so impressed she has made it this far!
Donna got workout clothes, a new watch, some jewelry, and not sure what else.
Melanie got a HUGE pair of cutting shears to put on her salon wall - FABULOUS find Nichole!  She also got a fun Mother's necklace with a charm for each of her kids.
 Nichole - Michele S. - Michelle T.
 Carol - Jess
 Tosha - Melanie - Donna
 JennyLynn - Lisa
 Deyse - Angie
 Me - Nichole - Michele S. - Michelle T.
I LOVE baking so I always (or almost always) bake the birthday girl their favorite dessert.  Angie's is Carrot Cake (or chocolate cake but Donna already picked that).
Melanie picke homemade ice cream so Nichole made some yummy homemade raspberry ice cream.
Donna picked my homemade chocolate cake.
And for Carol, I made a cheesecake with graham cracker crust and sour cream topping.
Hopefully these ladies know they are loved!  Hope you all had a fabulous birthday!  Love you all!
