August Birthday Party for 4 Friends

Four of my good friends all have birthdays in August so we had one BIG Birthday Party for them last week at my house.  It was so much fun to spend the evening with good friends - just chatting and eating and swimming and catching up.

 Of course we had LOTS of YUMMY food.  We started with appetizers - homemade FRUIT SALSA and CINNAMON SUGAR CHIPS and chips and guac (thanks for the chips and guac Laura).  

 We had the punch my mom always made for parties growing up - frozen pineapple juice and Squirt.

 Here are the appetizers and drinks.

 For dinner we had 2 YUMMY and PRETTY salads.  Michelle T. made this AMAZING BBQ CHICKEN salad and Nichole made a SUPER YUMMY BOWTIE SPINACH SALAD (that somehow I did not get a picture of - I hate when I do that).  Thanks for making the salads ladies!

 We also had YUMMY rolls! 

 I had to take a picture of the silverware - love all the ribbons!

 We also had BBQ CHICKEN and a YUMMY SPICY MUSTARD SAUCE.

 Here is the food table - LOVE the pink chevron fabric for the table cloth - I will have to use that again!  We also had lots of YUMMY FRUIT (thanks Michelle T and Rena).

 Here are all the ladies that were at the beginning - others came later - and we definitely missed those that couldn't be there.

 I had to pull out the Ghirardelli chocolate sauce I got for my birthday - YUMMY!

 We had to have fresh strawberries and peaches with the ice cream too!  So good!

 Carol's pick: Cheesecake with a graham cracker crust and sour cream topping

 Love these ladies!  Loved getting to celebrate their birthdays with them!

 And the desserts all set up.

After dessert we went and swam and hung out in the hot tub - what a GREAT night!
