Happy St. Patrick's Day!

I love ALL holidays, BIG and SMALL.  So of course I had to do a few fun things for the kiddos today.  And since I have been horrible at blogging lately I decided to be on top of things and blog about St. Patrick's Day on St. Patrick's Day!  So here we go -

The kids woke-up to gold chocolate coins leading them to the kitchen where some silly little treats were waiting for them.  Like green candies and green gumballs in little pots. Lucky Charms in a bag with a cute note on top and a bag with Hershey's Kisses and Gold Coins from Lucky the Leprechaun.
And they each got a cute, silly hat.
My boys LOVE Skittles so when I saw this on Pinterest I knew I had to make it for them - with a tag I knew Matthew (our UofU fan) would LOVE!
And I printed this little banner I also found on Pinterest (I was going to make my own but ran out of town).
I made this balloon rainbow last year and had to make it again.
Here is the trail of coins leading from Cameron and Kesley's rooms.
Here is one of the very few St. Patrick's Day decorations I have.
This is what I found when I got up this morning - the 3 little ones with their hats on, enjoying their treats!
Sure LOVE these kids! Cameron kept saying "Happy Patrick's Day!"
Luckily Ed got to spend a couple of minutes with the Little 3 before he had to get on a plane to Boston for work.
Of course Ed didn't remember to put green on so the Little 3 had a great time PINCHING him!
Matthew collected a LOT of gold coins!  Matthew called today Leprechaun Day.
Gavin was super happy to get to have Lucky Charms for breakfast.
And how cute are these little bottles!  I bought them for Brecken's birthday back in October and made these little labels for them. I didn't color the milk green - I can't ever get the little ones to drink it when I do.
 Dallin finally got up.
After Church, Dallin made a fun little scavenger hunt for the little 3 (I was going to do one for all the kids this morning but I ran out of time).  It was SO cute!  They LOVED it!  The hunt started with me ready this note Dallin, I mean the leprechaun wrote the little 3.
Matthew followed them around the house and read the clues for them - they RAN from clue to clue!
The last clue sent them to the family room where there was a RAINBOW (I found super cute rainbow crepe paper) with a BIG pot of GOLD.
For dinner we had a FRUIT rainbow . . .
and RAINBOW pancakes!  Both so simple but my kids LOVE them!
Kesley only wanted PURPLE pancakes.
Matthew and Gavin ate some of EACH color!
And Cameron would only eat ORANGE pancakes - until they were gone and then he settled for a red one.
Then for dessert I made GREEN RAINBOW cupcakes.
The kids all loved the cupcakes.
Well, Cameron would touch it but he was excited when I said I had a cupcake for him.
Now - time to start planning the next holiday party - EASTER!
