Super Bowl Party!!!!

Let's just say that FOOTBALL, really SPORTS in general, are a big deal at our house (there are 6 boys that live here).  So, the first Sunday in February is a pretty big deal at our house (even if my favorite team - the BRONCOS - aren't playing).  We had a some of our friends over (just over 60 people here) and TONS of YUMMY FOOD!  I took LOTS of pictures of the desserts but NONE of the regular food table.  So here is a LIST of all the food we had:

Pizza
Hot Dogs
Polish Dogs
Pigs in Blankets
Corn Dog Pops
Buffalo Wing Bites (too lazy to do the real thing)
Pasta Salad
Fruit Salad
Cut up Fruit
Chips
Veggie Tray

White Corn Guac
Salsa
Guac
Chips
Football shaped chocolate, peanut butter dip

Popcorn
Pretzels (the kind you get at a stadium)
Nachos (with the cool nacho trays and everything)

And DESSERT!  I made NINE different desserts!  Those I have pictures of (I really need to be better about taking pictures of things other than desserts - my friends brought some really yummy food).

Here is the DESSERT BUFFET!
Three different kinds of cookies!

Dessert #1 (new): Carmelitas - oatmeal, chocolate chips, caramel - YUM!
Dessert #2 (new): Chocolate chip cookie, Oreo, Brownie bar - just what the name says
Dessert #3 (new): Oreo Rice Krispy Treats - hands down the favorite
Dessert #4 (new): Reese Cookie Brownie Bites - layer of chocolate chip cookie, Reese, then brownie
Dessert #5: Caramel Brownies - kind of dry this time, not sure what happened
Dessert #6 (new): Twix - cookie layer, brownie, caramel and chocolate
Dessert #7: Oatmeal Butterscotch Cookies - still Ed's favorite
Dessert #8 (new): Triple Chocolate Oreo Cookies - chocolate cookie with Oreos, white chocolate and semi-sweet chocolate chips
Dessert #9 (new): Peanut Butter Nutella Swirl Cookies - peanut butter cookies with Nutella
We started the Super Bowl Raffle last year and had to do it again.  Everyone gets to put their name in one square.  At the end of each quarter we add up the scores and whoever's name is in that square wins a prize.  First quarter winner got candy bars and a Powerade.  Second quarter winner got a football and M&Ms.  Third quarter winner got a Little Caesars gift card and Sprite.  Fourth quarter winner got a Fandango gift card and popcorn.  It makes everything a little more interesting - this year the game actually was interesting (minus the almost 40 minute power outage).
We had homemade pizza so we could cook more throughout the game.  We did have more kinds than just pepperoni and cheese.
What is a game without nachos - and nachos in the cool containers.
Gotta have popcorn!  I was going to do microwave popcorn but the Taylor's brought over their COOL popper and popped a whole bunch.  Seemed like a good idea until we went downstairs after the game and found popcorn in EVERY room in the basement.  But the kids pretty much left us alone for the whole game so I think it was worth the mess!
And how fun are these pretzels!  Just like at a real game!
Here are pictures of everyone watching the game!
Eating and watching the game - having fun!
 More pizza!

Drinks - I like my new backdrop thingy that I can change.  I used plastic table clothes to cover it - how fun is that!  Really wish I had a picture of the big food table!
Next year I will take pictures of my kiddos too.  Gavin said he wore a green shirt to match the field.  Dallin and I had on Broncos shirts.  Oh, and Dallin made tags for everyone.  They could pick whether they were "I'm a Ravens fan", "I'm a 49ers fan", or "Just here for the Food".  I wish the 49ers had won but it was a GREAT game and a SUPER fun way to spend time with GREAT friends (who are really our family)!
