We got the bill for Brecken's Life-Flight Helicopter ride. Any guesses on how much it costs to fly a 4-year old from American Fork Hospital to Primary Children's Medical Center (about a 20 minute flight)?

ER visit at AF Hospital was only $482
The ER at Primary Children's the day before was only $319.36 (of course, they didn't save his life there).
THANK HEAVENS for insurance and out of pocket maxs! We only had to pay $161.09 for Life-Flight and nothing for the ER (the AF ER that is). Still waiting for the hospital stay bills. Brecken is worth EVERY PENNY - even without insurance!

That was a good of a guess as mine! Crazy how expensive it is! So glad he is all better!
Well, since 3 little stitches in the ER runs around 600, I figured the flying hospital would be a TON! Does your insurance help?
