Poor Gavin! At Lake Powell he had a serious allergic reaction (in the form of a HORRIBLE rash) to something (doesn't help that he already has eczema). He itched and scratched and
hurt. It was so bad that I made him come home early with me so I could take him to the doctor. These are pictures from the waiting room at the doctor's office. Trust me - it was MUCH MUCH worse in person. I thought
we had it under control but for some reason, it
started getting worse yesterday. And then last night, he came into bed with us complaining that
"My chin hurts. It feels like a root."
I have NO idea what, it feels like a root, means but it can't be good since it is 4:01 am and he is watching a cartoon to get his mind off it and I am blogging. Hopefully with Benadryl (which keeps him up) and lots of Aquaphor (best stuff ever), we can get it under control and get some sleep one of these days.

That looks very uncomfortable. Skin stuff really can be very irritating, since it's your largest organ! Looks nasty, I hope you get it all taken care of soon!
Holy cow! What did the doctor say it was? 'Hurts like a root' sounds really ouchy! Hope he i feeling better soon!!!
