Gavin LOVES LOVES LOVES Mario - so this year for his 6th birthday, he had a Mario birthday! Here are the pages from his birthday (presents with family & cake with friends). I made the cake for his actual birthday. The cupcakes and cookies were all for his friend party the day before (which I will blog about soon and give details on) - we just had leftovers.
Gavin is so much fun! So full of life and GOOFY! We sure LOVE him!

That's the same cake I made for Ella's 6th birthday, which was also a Mario party!
It turned out great but I was so frustrated b/c I am NOT a baker and don't even decorate cakes the normal way so of course I decided to tackle fondant.
The party looks like it was a lot of fun - I LOVE seeing how much the boys have grown up -crazy!!!
Anyway, the kids faces were all worth it seeing the cake. I can't let Ella look at these pics or she will want another Mario party this year and I'm trying to steer her in a different direction.
All I can say is WOW! You never cease to amaze me.
