- MOM -
My sweet little Brecken, who will be THREE on Friday, called me MOM for the first time on Sunday - he doesn't say very much (but we are working on that and he is improving) and up until Sunday I was "Bob", if anything at all. Sunday morning he came into my bedroom (Ed was letting me sleep in), put his face right next to mine and said, "MOM". I don't think I have ever been so happy to hear that word!

Oh! So sweet! Ethan was a late talker. He didn't say hardly a word until he was 3. It was just pointing and squeaking. Maybe brecken will be the same way! Won't it be fun to hear what he is thinking. . .
My oldest was late with language too. I'm so glad that Brecken was able to say the sounds that made you so happy! "Bob" made me giggle, though. There's something very sweet about how our kids try to communicate!
That made me cry. I know how much that means. I bet you didn't mind being woken up for that!
"Bob" has me laughing. What a sweetie!
I am so excited for you! I remember the same feeling when Stuart finally called me mom. I am glad you were having quiet time, to share this special moment with Brecken!! Love to you and yours.
Reading this is a great start to my day!!
These are the things that make it all worth it! He loves his "Bob"- mom:)
oh happy day....that is about when Carlie finally called me mom and oh boy was I happy!!!!!!
Have you ever listened to the "signing times" song called "Show me a Sign" I seriously cry every time I hear that song because it perfectly describes how I felt when Carlie couldn't communicate with me. Yes, I know I am cheesy.
I think this is my favorite post! I keep looking at it and smiling. So glad Brecken has you!
