Halloween is so much fun but always so busy.
The day started with my TWO HARRY POTTERS going to school!
Both are such fun boys!
Even though Dallin is in Junior High this year, they still got to dress up. Dallin went the easy route (thank you) and was a FOOTBALL PLAYER and just wore his jersey and pads.
What is a holiday without treats for the kids teachers. All the teachers (ok, not the Junior High teachers - way too many) got a jar with Hershey Kisses and spider rings and some Pumpkin Chocolate Chip bread. I got the idea for the jars and the tag from my good friend Angela - she is AMAZING!
Of course, I had to send to baskets full of pumpkin chocolate chip bread into Xactware. Ed said it went really fast this year so I think next year I will have to make 3 triple batches instead of 2 triple batches. They really are yummy!
I still can't get over how cute the Little 3 were. They were the 3 main good characters from one of their favorite Disney shows, Jake and the Neverland Pirates.
Cubby (Cameron) - Jake (Brecken) - Izzy (Kesley)
They are all doing their best ARGHHHHHH!
Here are my pirates going into pre-school with their cute buddy Kyle -
Brecken had to be in the picture.
MORNING SCHOOL PARADE:
First Harry Potter - Gavin
My second Harry Potter, Quidditch - Matthew
Twins at Pre-School with their friends.
AFTERNOON SCHOOL PARADE:
Jake from Disney's Jake and the Neverland Pirates - Brecken
DINNER
I always say I am going to do fun "Halloween" food for dinner and usually run out of time. But this year I did it! We had
JACK 'O LANTERNS (quesadillas)A BUCKET of BONES (ribs)
and MUMMIES (hot dogs wrapped with pillsbury roll dough and mustard for eyes)
There was something for everyone - Gavin was SO HAPPY!
Here is our traditional Halloween picture but this year Ed got to be in it (since my mom came over) - kids in their costumes, sitting on the stairs.
This picture of my 3 Little Pirates is my FAVORITE from the night!
Here is Gram with the 3 Little Pirates.
TRICK-or-TREATING - we started out in our old neighborhood since we still know so many people over there. Then Dallin went to a party (so glad he wanted to trick-or-treat with us at first) and Ed, Matthew, and Gavin trick-or-treated in our neighborhood for awhile.
Cameron was so excited. He did make sure I brought the stroller so he could "ride" between each house. Kesley didn't need the stroller.
Dallin decided to be Jase from Duck Dynasty for the night - he looked great!
The twins were pros at trick-or-treating! So fun to watch them!
Brecken ran from house to house. He was in heaven!
Matthew ran right with Brecken - not sure who was faster!
Happy kids!
So fun!
We trick-or-treated our old neighborhood with the Taylor's - such cute kids!
Here is Jase, I mean Dallin.
Gavin is such a character.
Kesley with her daddy!
Brecken had a smile on his face all night.
All the kids before Dallin left. I'm not sure I like him getting older!
We ran into our neighbors and Kesley's BFF in our old neighborhood. Photo bomb by Brecken.
Checking out all their LOOT! The little 3 were so excited to see how much candy they got!
Matthew and Gavin instantly started sorting and trading their candy!
Missed having Dallin for this part.
Gavin asked me to take one more picture of him in his costume before he showered and washed the black spray out of his hair.
Such a fun night! Love spending time with my kids!
