Kesley's 1st Dance Recital

What a fun day!  Kesley had her FIRST (of many to come) dance recital today.  She takes ballet at the Academy of Ballet - this year they did Cinderella which just happens to be Kesley's FAVORITE!

She has been so excited to get to dance and be dressed up as a BUNNY!  She was really excited when I put a little make-up on her (mascara and blush).  And then when I put sparkles in her hair she was over the top excited!

 Since all the bunnies were 3 and 4, they sat with their parents until after the second act (since they were in the 3rd act).  After the second act, I took her backstage to be with her class (and a couple of the moms).  Here she is with her cute little friend Ember.

 These pictures are horrible but I had to share some anyway.  The bunnies hop out onto the stage to dance with Cinderella - she is sad because the Prince doesn't know who she is.  Anyway, Kesley is the one holding Cinderella's left hand.  She just stared at Cinderella the whole time - she LOVES Cinderella!

 Of course, she got flowers from her daddy afterwards - that really made her HAPPY!

 I think I might have been just as excited about today as Kesley was!

 I had to take a picture of her walking away afterwards holding Gram's hand - she LOVES Gram and I LOVE the back of her costume.  What a fun day!  I can't wait for more recitals - her brothers are quite as excited though!
