Broncos vs Steelers

What a super fantastic amazing awesome fun never will forget weekend!  It was a VERY LAST MINUTE trip!  Ed and Matthew started talking about how much fun it would be to go to a PRO football game (which is something Ed had been wanting to do with the Big 3 for a while).  They figured out that the Broncos are the closest PRO team to us and then when they looked at the Broncos' schedule, they saw that the Broncos played the Steelers (Matthew's FAVORITE team for some reason) THIS WEEKEND!  Somehow we were able to work it out and I was even able to go.  Then Richard asked if he could come with us and bring his 2 kids (who are huge Steelers fans).  So Ed got tickets and we left late Saturday night and drove 1/2 way to Grand Junction then got up Sunday morning and drove to Denver.  We got there in time to see everything that was going on beforehand - there are some serious tailgaters there.  It was so much fun!  Of course, we had to get some Broncos shirts to help cancel out all the Steelers stuff the kids were wearing.  It was TONS of fun since I LOVED the Broncos growing up!

 My brother-in-law Corey is also a HUGE Broncos fan so we brought FLAT COREY along for the trip and game!  You will notice him in LOTS of the pictures!

 Here we are in the stadium wandering around, eating and checking everything out!

 Right before the game started, 4 guys PARACHUTED into the stadium!  It was AMAZING!  There was a pretty good breeze - I wasn't sure they would even make it into the stadium - but they did!

 Here come the STEELERS!

 Now the BRONCOS!!!!!!

 Then they released TONS of orange balloons - right as the wind picked up so the balloons blew all around the stadium - so cool!

 Loved the sea of orange!

 So excited the game is finally going to start!

 Gavin started the game neutral but went all STEELERS part way in - bad choice!

 Having so much fun!  It was a really good game (first game with Peyton Manning as quarterback)!

 So the happy Steelers' fans weren't so happy by the end - it was really close until the last 2+ minutes!

 The true Broncos' fans (me and Dallin) were VERY happy!

 Such a FUN game!

 Loved getting to be with the Big 3 and Ed and not chasing little ones around (but I did miss them)!

 Some happy - some not so happy - but all had a GREAT time!

 There are some seriously CRAZY fans in Denver!

This weekend is one that we will never forget - it was AMAZING!
