4th of July Party

What a fun party our friends throw every 4th of July - dinner, swimming, dessert, and fireworks! This year I was even brave enough to take all 6 kids (plus my brother-in-laws 2 kids) to the party - well at least to part of it (my little 3 went home after swimming). The twins were so cute in their 4th of July outfits! They don't go many places so they thought it was a lot of fun to get out.

I was in charge of desserts this year and I tried to make some fun desserts. I made a flag cake and red, white, and blue mini cupcake kabobs with strawberries and star marshmallows. I also left some of the mini cupcakes not on kabobs for little kiddos. I will try to blog how I made them one of these days.
